Dr. Bob,
I'm fairly new to Psychobabble, and until I saw your newest photo, I was quite pleased with what I have found here. I certainly hope that you are not using the site and the printing on the photo in order to endorse and/or advertise SSRIs in general or Effexor in particular. Aside from the fact that Effexor was the worst medicine I've ever taken (I call it "Ineffexor"), I think your photo appears to be an advertisement for that drug. Your pushing a particular drug is inappropriate for this forum and for what you say is a research study -- unless, of course, the makers of Effexor are funding your study.

Bekka, it's just another forum user here that's been playing with PhotoShop & working on Dr. Bob's pix for the site. Neither she nor Dr. Bob endorse any meds & they probably didn't think of it at the time - just more likely "hey! cool photo work!". I'd never have thought of it as endorsement either.

Oh Bekka,
This is a board about meds. I think that Dreamer was just illustrating the meds aspect of the board and not promoting meds or any one med per se.
I did not like Effexor either. I think that she chose that just because so many people post about that med.
The changing piccies are just a light and fun thing that seems to go on... If you are offended, then I'm truly sorry.... Maybe those of us who mess with PhotoShop for Dr. Bob should pay attention to the issues you have brought up....
Now I know that Dr. Bob will redirect this to Admin I hope since this is an Admin issue.....

I was thinking it would be cool to have a different photo for each board. Anyway when I saw it I was not offended, in fact I thought it was a clever way to bring out the issues that often predominate here. Im sure the photo will change soon.
