The past 48 hours I've been feeling like I'm withdrawing from effexor (been on it 18 months... currently on 150mg twice a day - withdraw once before and was horrid..). I;m getting the brain rushes, strange tingly feelings all over, dizziness... not as bad as when I went cold turkey from it, but enough for it to be making me feel wierd.I've not missed a dose. Oh, and on 5mg Zyprexa too (not missed a dose of that either)
Any ideas on what could be happening??
Nikki

This has happened to me a few times . The only reason I could think was is that I had eaten the wrong thing that caused it not to absorb properly and so rush through the system quickly..?
Anway I shouldn't worry the feelings should cease after the next dose/day .

This would happen to me if I drank too much caffeine and not enough water.

I usually get to see pdoc(hospital rehab centre) on the day if I wait and wait wait etc best to write down whats going on with yer meds their memory is awful isn't it? grab him/her give em what you wrote then phone them if they grumble.
well that's one idea...GP's are worse forget them unless they specialise in mental illness.
One reason I stay in this area is the health resources are kinda ok-ish.sorry I can't help more...dreamerx
