hi. I went to my pdoc today and of course I had no choice in what to take. I told her about my burning head and very fast constant heart beat. She didn't want to do a brain scan.
anyway she told me that even if a med makes me feel worse I MUST keep taking it, or contact her and see what to do. if it makes me a little worse then okay. but prozac made me extremely suicidal. heart pounding, heart on fire, shaking in bed just waiting until it went away. If that type of hell happens then of course I will stop the damn meds...
I have been given zoloft 25mg for first 5 mornings. then 50mg after that. she said if it's sedating then take it at night. she said it works for everything so even my anxiety.
also she gave me risperdal 0.5mg 14 samples. i am supossed to take one a bed time. she said it's to augment the zoloft.
also I got more ativan for anxiety. the 2 days before i started taking them 3 times a day or so. hard to tell but maybe they work a little for the mind torture to make it more bearable. she told me to only take it sometimes, since it's addictive. why cant the dirty doctor give me some adderall and be done with it? there's a cure right there.
anyway how do you think this combo will work for me?
i deal with a lot of mind torture due to severe depression and anxiety. no motivation. no appetite. little sleep but ativan seemed to help a little last night. extremely hard to think, concentrate, and i have almost no long term memory. feeling very hopeless. almost all AD's have made me worse..
