LOOKING FOR EFFEXOR SUCCESS STORIES ON EXTENDED RELEASE. I AM INTO MY THIRD WEEK OF 150MG XR AND TODAY WAS THE FIRST DAY I REALLY DIDN'T FEEL THE SIDE
EFFECTS AND I ACTUALLY FELT PRETTY GOOD. I AM HANGING IN THERE AND HOPING FOR MORE DAYS LIKE THIS. I HAD
SOME SIDE EFFECTS OF NAUSEA AND INSOMNIA WHICH SEEMS
TO BE SLOWLY GOING AWAY. I ENCOURAGE ANYONE ON THIS
DRUG TO TOUGH IT OUT. PLEASE SHARE YOUR SUCCESS STORIES, NO NEGATIVE COMMENTS PLEASE.......I'VE HEARD
THEM ALL.

effexor xr is the most potent, i feel, AD out there. one catch, be aggressive with dosing, 300 limit and stay on the med. when i first augmented it with remeron i was on another planet. i never felt so good in my life. at 300mg effexor starts to play with dopamine and it feels good. but the sexual side effects made me stop and start, stop and start to where right now its worthless for me. i believe fully i need to be off effexor for about 6 months and then restart it to be as effective as it was.
believe me if you are feeling good at 150mg then ride it out but effexor gets the noradrenaline boost and dopamine boost at the 300mg level. you have a winner with this med. trust me nothing comes close except for MAO's which i am about to try for the first time.
if you are feeling a bit lousy talk to your doc and ask about augmenting remeron as they call it 'rocket fuel' compliments of stephen stahl the guru of psych meds....
