First thanks to all for responding to my question regarding Lamictal, listed above. I am Bipolar II and want to try Lam. pdoc. wants to try Effexor. QUESTION: if I loose this battle and end up with E can I use Prozac to get off the E when the E "poops-out" ? Hope someday Bipolar folks will have a REAL single med.that works for BP II and we can dispense with this "off-label" Bandaid treatment. Would also like to find a pdoc that wouldn't go scurrying for his PDR when I mention Selegiline (sorry just a little cranky today).
