I take 150mg. Most people find relief between
about 100-300mg. I'm bp2.The dosing titration is quite slow at first
in order to avoid a rash. I started at I believe
25 mg 2x a day. Over 1.5-2 months I bumped this
to 150 mg. It was after about 5 weeks that my
Major Depression lifted.I took supplements zinc,selenium, and others
and I used anti-dandruff/psoriasis shampoo to
help with any intermittent dermitits.All the side effects went away for me, fortunately.
I have been stable on Lamictal for 9 months.Good luck,

He started at 12.5mg for 2 weeks, then 25mg for two weeks, now we are at 25mg twice a day untill I notify the pdoc about needing an increase, and if so, to what. It has been a long slow road!! My son and I have been home during the titration!! I have not seen allot of mood stability on it yet, dose is too small still- I have seen some improvement,good luck. Evan also had itchiness, it has subsided. We used gold bond lotion. Karen Curtis

Sexual dysfunction "seems" rare on Lamictal.
At least as far as my experience. I don't
recall too many people listing this as an issue,
but someone feel free to buzz in and disagree.
One of its greatest selling points of lamictal
is the lack of side effects. The primary ones
being skin rashes,dermatitis,clumsiness,loss
of speech,potential irritability.
But these usually subside if one doses things
correctly and slowly.regards,

Other than a curious itchy spot on my belly (benign), I have no side effects on 75mg Lamictal. And it works.

Has anyone with chronic unipolar depression found Lamictal augmentation useful? I currently take Celexa, trazodone and clonazepam. I tried Neurontin with Celexa and it did nothing.

hi. I am hoping to try Lamictal next week since all AD's I've tried have made my depression worse. Does it have any interactions with Zyprexa? It seems to have been the only prescription med to not make me worse.
