I am stopping the Serzone as the only med........to much crasyness! Going back to Celexa.
Anyone tried Serzone in a combo with Celexa (or another SSRI)for sleep? Or better sex? Or anything else?

I have taken Serzone in the past but it did not do enough for my depression. I currently take 30 mg Celexa with success. My guess would be that it might be worth a try to take them together for the reasons you gave. Ask your doctor first since you have to worry about serotonin syndrome. I personally take Ginkgo with Celexa to help offset the sex related side effects.

Forgot to mention that Serzone does have a beneficial effect libido-wise, possibly counteracting all the other libido inhibitors (i.e. Prozac, Amitriptyline).

When I saw this combo, all I could think about was sleep...
Celexa was really bad for me re: sexual dysfunction (I'm female). Prozac has been better.

How is you sleep on Celexa?
I agree, it has done wonders on my panic and depression! The usual carb-cravings have given me some ekstra pounds over the last three tears, but what the hell!

I recall one poster in a diferent group who was dismayed that he had to quit a Celexa/Serzone that was working beautifully for him, as it started causing terrible headaches.
I took the combo during a transition phase to Serzone and didn't like the mix, but unlike you Celexa alone never did much for me.
Funny, I *did* have mild headaches taking the two together, even though neither med caused this problem solo. This surprised me because I'm generally immune to headache side effects from psychotropic meds.
