How long does serotonin syndrome last??
I was taking paxil with other serotonerigic street drugs for about a year, I know I'm stupid but I didn't care at the time because my life was so screwed up. I haven't taken any paxil or any other drugs in two months. I feel all screwed up, sometimes I talk so weak noone hears me and I don't realize it, I shiver sometimes and feel like I'm freezing to death for no reason. This happens on and off. Can anyone help me? What should I do now?

My mom has some trazodone hcl that she used to use for sleep. Could I use them? They are serotonin antagonists.

Hey there... you know, I would strongly recommend talking this over with a doctor? Not just take something your Mom happens to have at home. Maybe you should have this whole hting checked out?

I cannot tell you how many stupid, suicidal things I've done because I thought I could "tough it out" without professional help. As I explained in a previous post, as a teenager I would beg my mother for psychiatric help...I was abusing drugs and cutting myself; once I punched through a thick pane of glass to an emergency fire hose and severed tendons in my thumb, damaging it permanently. Still, my mother refused to take me to a psychiatrist; she said they were for "lunatics and idiots". I was nearly 40 years old before I saw a psychiatrist, and by that time I was bent on self-destruction. The police had to actually come and take me away.
Don't allow yourself to reach this point. Find a psychiatrist and get help.
