You said Prozac was to activating. What medication are you on now, if you don't mind answering.

I'm back on the Paxil - my PDoc has combined it with a low dosage of Clomipramine (20mg)(Anafranil) with the theory that it will help with the norepinephrine uptake as well as Serotonin. I've only been on this for a couple of weeks so am yet to get the full benefit - but am feeling better for the first time in a few months. Was on Zoloft before this for 3 months - only got up to 75mg (couldn't afford any more because it's not subsidised in NZ) and was worse on it than on no medications. I also tried imipramine - but the effect of the increased heart rate actually made me feel worse - another case where I should've started at a lower dose. (Being the med sensitive person that I am!). Basically, nothing has worked as well as Paxil (or Aropax as we call it here) for me.
