Dana – much thanks for the advice. I was away for a week so i just looked at your response now. I have often wondered if my food – anxiety symptoms are hormone related. It feels like an adrenaline rush to some extent, but I also know that it persists as long as I obsess about it. If I do some activity that causes me to relax and forget my symptoms, sometimes (not always) they go away.
I have tried relaxation exercises similar to what you suggest but I keep getting out of the habit. They do work. I know – I just did it today and I have had a pretty good afternoon. Thanks again
Greg
