remeron and length of time for side affects

Posted by cindy litchke on July 6, 2001, at 18:30:01

My dr is treating me for chronic fatigue and i took my first dose of remeron last night of 30 mg. I also take 75mg of wellbutrin daily and have been for 60 days. after taking the remeron last night, i could not get up until 4pm today! I still feel like i am drugged and very incoherent at times, almost drunk. It is now 6:30 pm and I am wondering when the side affects will wear off. i called my dr and she said to try taking it through the weekend, but should i be expecting these same reactions to remeron? do you know if these side effects will go away in time, and if so, how much time.help!

I've been through that twice. Just hang in there, the enormous tiredness goes away in a just a couple days.

I think you should increase Remeron dosage very slowly to avoid such side effects. In any case, it should take about 2 week for these side effects to decrease or desappear.

Can anyone tell me if you have experienced anything similar to what i did the first time i took a 30 mg pill. The doc perscribed this to me for depression and 20 minutes after taking it my eyes became very heavy and my head was racing. the next thing i knew was i had passed out and when i came to did it all over again then i threw up and then it felt like my bowels were going to let lose. This was horrible. It has been 3 days now and I am still groggy and feeling quite stoned. How long does this last for. I have not taken any more of this and frankly am quite scared to.

help
