I'm new here and have noticed that each time I go to this site it already has my name and password; I don't have to log in each time. Is this site somehow programmed to "automatically remember" names/passwords? I've never encountered this before, so I'm curious. Thanks!

Yup, it's supposed to make life (this part of it, anyway) easier for you. :-)
It uses "cookies" to save that information on your computer. If that makes you worried about your privacy, you can erase them at:
