Was wondering if anyone has ever been on a combination of Klonopin and Xanax. Currently, I am on Celexa and Klonopin, but still seem to be having trouble with anxiety and panic attacks. Would adding Xanax help?

Any commets or suggestions would be much appreciated!!

The whole idea of adding more benzos doesn't agree with me. Perhaps you could conquer the problem with medications designed for long-term prophylaxis of anxiety like paroxetine, nefazodone, or gabapentin.

Yes. I also take Celexa (30mg) and Klonopin (.5mg). Occasionally I add a small amount of Xanax (.25) as needed (during real stressful times or insomnia). These meds have worked wonders for me. However, feeling too tired and unmotivated is still a problem so my pdoc added 100 mg Wellbutrin. Don't know if it will help or not.

Generally not. You can take the Klonopin dose up or change to Xanax, there is no much sense in combining the 2 drugs, which have very similar pharmacology.

The one benefit I found is that if I am out late, don't take the Klonopin early enough then I have difficulty falling asleep in time to have a decent sleep. The Xanax is much quicker acting and a little bit puts me right to sleep and a little Klonopin keeps me asleep through the night. Make sense?

Not really. Klonopin is fster acting than Xanax, and also longer acting. You can (in theory) dissolve Klonopin in anything and drink it, which even starts working faster. Xanax tastes so disgusting that you can't mix it with anything, just swallow it.
