Hey, is it just me being in denial about how much i'm
eating, or has anyone had any experience gaining weight
on Neurotin. I didn't notice it at a lower dose, but
when the dose was upped to 1800, the weight started
coming on. Of course it's hard to know if maybe i'm
just eating too much or what...
Anyone?

I personally doubt the weight gain just from Neurontin, but anything is possible. Lamotrigine won't have the weight gain, and topiramate might even have weight _loss_.

I have been on 1800mg of neurontin for abt a year and
didn't notice any weight gain. But everyone's metabolism is
different.Liz

Neurontin is supposed to be benign in the weight gain area but I will say that when I added it to my combo of Celexa and Topamax I experienced a slight increase in appetite.
I then increased my Topamax so my appetite went down again.
You know, Neurontin is activating for me, which I think is unheard of, so you never know.
This is the end of the thread.
