Go to http://www.walgreens.com/default.jhtml and enter the pharmacy area. On that page is a place where you can find their drug prices.

Michele
It is expensive compared to other drugs. I don't know if this is because there isn't a generic? Did you doctor not mention the cost of this prescription to you before prescribing? If you think that you may be having problems with the cost you should discuss this with your doctor.
(Makes me wonder about the logic of some doctors. What good is a medication if a person can't afford it?)

There is no generic for that one. But it would be a tragedy if you couldn't try it, because it has the possibility of working on serotonin, norepinephrine, AND dopamine at the same time--a super drug.

Yes, there is a big difference. Costco sells drugs at wholesale prices--I have noticed this prominently.

I have 2 stock bottles of 150 mg Effexor XR that I don't need anymore, I have changed AD. If anyone is interested, I will gladly mail them to you, I hate for them to go to waste, knowing how expensive ADs are.
Let me know and I will email you.

Sorry, but I think I need to draw a line here. Share information and support, but not drugs. Thanks,
Bob
