Ambien? How Long?

Posted by Cindee Smith on March 18, 2001, at 22:27:04

I have been taking Ambien for 4 years. Am I the only one in the world that has taken it this long? No serious side effects (5-10 mgs). Just curious if anyone else has taken it this long?

I have taken it on and off for about 2+ years.. Never noticed any problems or any difficulty stopping.. If your concerned stop for awhile and see what happens..

Cindee,

I will add that I have also taken it on & off for 2 years (mostly on). I try to stay below 5 mg by breaking tablets. I have never had any problems either. I usually stop it in the summer when I ride my bicycle to work (because I am so tired by the time I get home, sleep is rarely a problem).
