I started taking Topamax a couple months ago and had a change of taste right away. Everything I ate or drank tasted different. I thought it was a side effect that would go away. Now the smell of food makes me sick. I am eating less and less every day. I know I'm losing weight and I'm starting to get scared. I have made an appt with my Dr. I am repulsed by the thought of food and am nauseous most of the time. I'm starting to have trouble even cooking for my family. Has anyone else had these side effects?

You could benefit greatly from a change to Lamictal or Neurontin.
{I took Topamax and the stupidness, taste-disturbances, and drowsiness were too much for me.}
