Does it work? I've been on it for 2 weeks and haven't felt anything. I have failed every other antidepressant known to mankind--except ones available outside of the United States. :(

Thanks for the extensive references on Neurontin.
I tried Ludiomil (that's Maprotiline, right?) before SSRI's were widely used. It did take a while to start working (maybe 4 weeks), but it worked better for me than tricyclics, and is definitely different once it kicks in. It seemed to work well for depression, but it made me a little "hyper" after I had been on it for a while. Nothing horrible, though. And I wasn't taking any mood stabilizers then. Paradoxically, I also gained a little weight on it, but again, nothing major, and not much else in the way of side-effects (unlike the tricyclics I tried). I hope it works well for you.> Does it work? I've been on it for 2 weeks and haven't felt anything. This is the end of the thread.
