Anyone else on Prozac sleeping their lives away?
Is this more a side effect or is it a sign that it's not working?

I'm taking Prozac just over 4 weeks [20 mg]. I am tired sometimes but yet have a problem going to sleep. It does help me though, I am not depressed and agitated. I take a .5 Xanax at night to go to sleep. I am tired during the day, when I wake up and for a while after that. What dose are you on and how long are you on it? Other meds?

Maybe you can have your doctor add some buproprion to your Prozac in order to wake you up.

I've been on Prozac for a year now. I started at 20mg and recently moved up to 40. I'm trying to figure out if my depression has gotten worse or the extra dosage has caused the tiredness.

I found 20 mgs to be more effective than 40.
I agree, wellbutrin can be a good add- on to prozac.Good Luck!
