I have been off of xanax and ativan for 9 months. I was taking a small dose-1mg. I still am very ill- severe headaches, feels like there is sand in my head, facial pain, derealization and tingling. Anyone else like that out there?

You will find others who are experiencing what you are at http://www.egroups.com/group/benzo. You are not alone. Many people experience protracted withdrawal symptoms after they stop benzodiazapines.
