I am taking amisulpride 50mg per day, would it be better to take 50mg once per day, or 25mg twice per day, it has a half life of 12 hours i think? also is there a theraputic window, is too much or too little not effective, I read something like that somewhere but I think it was a study with mice and it may not apply to humans? thank you

Dosages vary and response times vary from person to person, but normally a small mood improvement in 6 days without side effects like sleeepiness indicates that is time to try a higher dosage, 75mg/day or 100mg/day. You only need to take it once a day.
I'm wishing you the best. Let us know how it goes as I am tracking the responses to amisulpride. Feel free to ask any other questions you may have.

Well I see this site is back up and running so ill just tell you how amisulpride has been working for me. I think it helps quite a bit. It took time to work and I wouldnt be surprised to see more improvement as time goes on, its seems like very slow steady improvement with this drug which I have been taking almost a month now. There has been no side effects except now I just dont seem to care as much about sex, but its not really a problem because I dont care. I am not euphoric and I am not depressed either so thats all I could ask for I guess, definitly improvement in my mood and social situations too, I am going to try adrafinil with amisulpride shortly mainly because of what john has been saying about the combination. I'm pretty sure I will continue taking the amisulpride though even if the adrafinil doesnt do anything.
This is the end of the thread.
