Can any of you succesful Wellbutrin users describe your initial experiences with it? I started with 150mg SR once a day, which I still take, and here's what I experienced:
-Decrease of inhibition
-Decrease in obessional thoughts
-A little mental anxiety
-Major decrease in physcial nervousness
-A feeling of extreme dopamine-ness(like taking a bunch of ritalins)
-Boost of energy, and less sleep needed to function
-Difficulty concentratingThese effects were not at all benign; they were all very noticeable. I actually had a lot of doubt of it working for me, which is why I experienced the mental anxiety. I am taking it for GAD, ADD, and resulting Social Anxiety and Depression.

My 18 year old son experienced an increase in energy which was tremendously positive for him for the first week on 300 mgs. Unfortunately, that stimulating effect wore off and he got very anxious and felt shortness of breat wwen exercising. After a few weeks, the side effects made it impossible for him to continue taking it. His anxiety was awful.
