I've tried most of them. For the most part they were not effective in any way. The only one that is effective, in my experience, is Yohimbe. A good strong dose of it a couple hours before anticipated sex, or regular small doses daily with a booster dose before sex.

The problem with Yohimnbe is its own side effects. It can cause anxiety and insomnia. For the dose to be powerfull enough to do what you want it to do, you'll definitely feel like you're on something. It's a very powerfull herb. It is effective. But you have to be prepared to be 'wired' for a few hours after taking it. The sex part is great. But the couple hours before and after is a little weirdish.

Where to get good Yohimbe? » JohnL

I heard that Yohimbe works, but only if you get the proper formulation. A lot of stuff sold in health stores is very low concentration apparently. Do you know what to look out for to get the genuine article?

Thanks

Try Tigra or Herbal Y (for men), Hebal X for women » T~

I have tried lots of stuff (but not Yohimbe yet). In the UK you can get a herbal mixture in tablet form called Tigra, touted as hebal viagra, which works fairly well for me (male). Also Herbal Y, which contains the herb Muira Puama or somesuch, it has a gentler effect but just about noticeable. Both of these are quite expensive (20 to 30 pounds per pack)

There is also a Hebal X preparation for women, though I have no info about its efficacy.

I do take ginseng and gingko biloba, and for me they make no discernable improvement on AD induced sexual dysfunction.

The only thing that works quickly and decisively is of course..... viagra, which leaves the others standing, so to speak!

Let us know if you have any luck. Whats in the stuff you tried? Does it work at all?

I think the Yohimbe found in libido formulas, where it is just one of several ingredients, is not very strong. Dont' get me wrong...it's still pretty strong, but not nearly as effective as full dose of the pure stuff alone.

I've tried several brands and they all seemed the same to me. The best was probably GNC brand, since it was cheapest and also specified the amount of the active chemical yohimbine in it.

For the pharmaceutical Yohimbine itself, it can be found at International Antiagings Systems without a prescription.
