My doctor has had me on serzone, paxil, effexor, Buspar and luvox for my anxiety aand none of them have provided me any relief. He has now given my remeron. Has anyone had any success with remeron for anxiety?

Mike:
I've been on Remeron, 30 mgs since Feb/March and still need to augment with Ativan. However, I have never been able to take an AD alone, I've always augmented it with either Xanax or Ativan...and I don't consider myself as someone with incredible anxiety levels...I don't have panic attacks...but I walk around extremely anxious and edgy...so the augmenting helps me get around that.
Nardil, an MAOI is supposed to be excellent for the treatment of anxiety, yet I still had to take Xanax at the same time.
Just some info for you to know...hope it helps.Sincerely,
Jane

Same here. Sedating AD's, I take Remeron, allow me to not have to take Atavin everyday but I still have to take it from time to time.
