I once suffered from panic attacks so bad, I ended up in the emergency room every month. They finally told me to see a shrink. This wacko put me on Xanax and told me to take as much as I needed. 1 mg became 10 mg per day and I was a wreck. I was a zombie. I could not get off of it. Finally, a doctor put me on Zoloft and weaned me from Xanax. It was the miracle I needed and probably saved my life. I shook uncontrollably for about two weeks, then finally felt normal again. After taking Zoloft for 2 years, I felt I was ready to get off the drug. I went from 50 mg to 25mg per day. I have been at 25mg every other day now for a year and I still can't get off of it. After two days without it I get "electrical sensations" in my head every few seconds. It is an awful feeling. I've tried going to 12.5mg but that doesn't work either. I really want to be drug free. How can I get off this mess? Will these "electrical" sensations go away on their own? Is this dangerous? Sometimes I feel like it will throw me into a seizure or something.
This is the end of the thread.
