dj, yesterday, I was at B&N and this book was on sale for 2 bucks. I remembered it from the book recommendations page, so I bought it.
So far, I really like it. A lot of it seems like "common sense", but the way he conceptualizes things is helpful, and it is very interesting to read all the data on how people spend their time, and how they report their moods to be while engaged in different activities.

Noa,
Let us know of any profound insights you gather from it. I have it partially re-read in a number of piles of books I'm working on and with... Someplace in one of my e-mails I have an overview on the key concepts he outlines which I compated and contrasted with my ambivalent outlook and experience at the time, which was the oppostite of much of what he portrayed as flow experiences.
I may post it here, when I've time. Enjoy!
Sante!
