I am aware that night sweats can be associated with the use of some of the SSRI's but not with Serzone which is an unrelated drug to the SSRI's.
I was previously taking serzone (nefazadone) without any problems but recently commenced again for depression/bulimia. I have had a huge night sweat which I thought may be related to the serzone? Anyone else experience this?

I was on Serzone for about a year and I didn't experience the night sweat thing...tried Celexa for 2 months and boy did they rear their ugly head then...of course, as you said, SSRI...just wondering how long you've been back on the Serzone. If not for long, hopefully this too shall pass...and just wanting to offer my encouragement.Jane

Thanks Jane...only happened once or twice now...been on serzone again for about 4 days. already starting to notice the improvement in my overall feeling and mood. I never thought a pill could do such a thing..never believed they worked..but i am already feeling better beside the initial headaches/stiff neck etc. Why are we so hard on ourselves that as soon as we feel better we jsut stop taking them..??

Congratulations...I can really relate to taking them/stop taking them...I just did that to myself and boy did my pdoc inform me, well, let's say STRONGLY suggested to me that I not do that again without her input/blessing. So when I went on Remeron the first time I gained about 10 pounds in 2 months...lost a few on Celexa...and now, with my Remeron-appetite...here I go again. Honestly, this time I feel so lucky to just feel good again I decided I'll deal with the weight thing while I'm feeling better...hence I joined ladiesofthelite egroup (formed by others here) so hopefully I will accomplish weight loss AND chemical balance. At least we know there's always hope. Hope you're continuing to do well.Jane
