Hey, Greg, it was a figment of my imagination on the spot--the form asked for a nickname, and I figured it would be good to have something appropriate to baseball, and that is what came to mind. I have know idea why!! I guess I must be harboring some deep down fantasy of being a popeye-esque slugger who sends the ball out of the park routinely (to cheering crowds, of course!)
Anyway, good luck with the site and the team. BTW, do they play all summer?

Well, since you asked....
If they win the playoffs, then they go to the Tournament of Champions, if they win there they go to the regionals, if they win there they go to the state champoinships, if they win there they go to the US championships, and so on, and so on.... Then they tell two friends, then they tell two friends...but I digress.
They lost last night 11-6, which I thought was good for them 'cause they were REALLY starting to get full of themselves! Still 13-2 is pretty good record. The season technically ends on June 12th, but who knows how far they might go if they keep their focus. Spaeaking of focus, it's time for my Prozac (tee-hee!).

Sounds like you have a fairly healthy attitude as a little league parent. As long as you're not one of those who shouts criticism from the stands and nearly has an MI when the ump makes a call you don't care for!
PS--I really do like spinach, but maybe not from a can!

Don't know about the criticism but I'm pretty sure he's the MI type. I can just see him kicking sand in the ump's face, can't you??
