I have a new doc who wants to add Epival to my daily drug regimen. I can't find anything on this stuff on the net or elsewhere and I don't want to take something that I've never heard of. Anybody know what this is and what it does?? Thanks again Lurker

Divalproex sodium

Use:
Divalproex Sodium, Depakote or Epival is an
anticonvulsant used in epilepsy, but also is
finding use in migraine headache prevention
and some psychiatric conditions.

Greetings kazoo: I have been reading the posts here for a little while and have noticed the name Depakote but had no idea that Epival was the same thing. Thanks so much for the info, I feel much better now.
