Celexa--bad taste in mouth?

Posted by Steph on May 20, 2000, at 20:26:40

Celexa is the first AD I have been given. I am a new person on this list. So far I have been having some of the side effects described by many of you folks. At 10mg--decreased appetite (loss of 3 lbs.), little nausea, restless but deep sleep, some lethargy but it hasn't been too bad. The weirdest effect started tonight--metallic taste in my mouth I haven't seen anyone comment and I don't see it listed on the effects list for this drug. I am a little concerned but not overly worried. I am taking it for PMS. Thanks in advance for any comments or advice.
New and waiting for a change,
Steph

The first two weeks I experienced loss of sex drive, some headaches, and dreamy stuff. That has all passed. I am into my 5th week and am benefiting from Celexa. I started at 10mg and am now at 20 mg. 20mg works fine for me. I am an anxiety disorder sufferer with low grade depression. Peace and best wishes.
