I think this is a measure of Scott's wisdom, which I greatly respect.
There is at least one person on this board who managed to alienate me with their first evasive "screw you" response to my first inquiry, which is a spectacular feat in itself. This person manages to evoke whatever small amount of latent sadism still exists in the furthermost reaches of my dark psyche. I choose not to get sucked in when this person plays the "come save me" "get away from me" game. I pity anyone who actually has to deal with this person. I don't like what this person brings out in me, so I choose, as Scott wisely suggests, to ignore their posts. At this time, that's the healthiest, kindest thing I can do. Maybe later, I'll be capable of more. I hope so. For now, I'll just try to do no harm.
