To all the moms (contributers and lurkers) - Have a very relaxing day. Hope your kids can remind you of some of the joyous times (even if there were only a few) you had as a child. To all moms - "Salut".
To all the dads - Give mom her day. You order the pizza today. As an aside. When I was a kid we had Stampede Wrestling on T.V. [it was real, not this phony stuff of today ;^)_]. Anyway, a Mother's Day quote I will always remember was from Gilbert (Mrs.Hayes bad boy Gilbert) Hayes, "Happy Mother's Day, all you mothers." (add appropriate emphasis) That was like swearing on T.V. in the late 1960s.

I celebrate this day joyously every year. My children could not have a better Mom, she's loving, tender, supportive and teach's them life lessons every day. She truly is an angel sent to earth to love us, and I thank God for her each and every day. She has also "Mothered" me on many occasions, taling care of me when I couldn't take care of myself. I am truly blessed!
To all the Mom's out there, I know it must be difficult to take care of children when there are days that you can't even take care of yourself. But I know that Moms always find a way to dig down deep into their hearts to give their children the love, caring and guidance that they need. God bless you all for that.

I lost my mom to suicide. Mother's Day was especially hard this year.
To all the Motherless here in Babble-Land...I wish you easy smiles and warm hearts.
