I asked Servier, the manufacturer of Survector (Amineptine), if it was currently being manufactured anywhere in the world at this time. I received this response today:
Dear Madam,
Following your e-mail dated April 24th, please note that unfortunatelly for you, SURVECTOR has been withdrawn worlwide,
meaning you will not be able to get it any more from any physician in any country.
However, I fully agree with you that this drug has undoubtly improved the quality of life of many depressive people in the past;This is why I can only suggest to you to see your physician, who may be able to prescribe a new drug, which I hope, will bring
you at least the same benefit as you had with SURVECTOR.

Thank you Karen. At last the definitive answer. The Servier official hopes that our physician will prescribe a new durg with the same benefits. I would think that is easier said than done!
