Just returned from Cancun, Mexico on April 21. The kids went to. We stayed in 3 different resorts, the latter the best. Since I've been off the lamictal now for 3 weeks, I've been mentally numb. Not excited about things I am usually excited about and not depressed either. My desire for sex is not as great either. I have had no obssessive thoughts on dying nor manias. The lamictal seemed to make me more manic. Now I am going to see a new pdoc Wed.and maybe find a new diagnosis. Is the lamictal still in my body? By the way, we had an excellent time, snorkeling, jumping off cliffs in cinotes, and drinking to much beer. Thanks, Amanda

Amanda - The Lamictal should totally clear your body within 2 weeks. I am not good at diagnosis, as I am not trained in that. I am not sure why you would be numb. It may be just part of the withdrawing of the drug, but I cannot say for sure. Best to ask the doc. Good luck and welcome back - Cam W.
