Just started depakote 250 mg. bid. Have already been on neurontin 600 mg. tid. Will be adding an SSRI. Anyone try prozac or zoloft with these mood stabilizers? Did you gain weight on depakote from eating more or really from a slower metabolism and the drug itself. I am really worried about a weight gain. Any info. would be helpful. Thank you

I know that alot of people say that they have gained 30 or 40 pounds but everyone is different and if you just watch what you eat and exercise you'll be okay. Try to give it a chance. good luck Ellen
