Maybe I'm missing something obvious, but when I try to look these two up on various med info sites, there is nothing there.
Am I spelling them incorrectly? Or is there another brand/generic name I might have more luck with?

Dear Michael,
You won't find either on medsites that are listing US drugs. They are available only outside the US. And...the second one is spelled sulpiride, brand name 'Dogmatil.' I was on Dogmatil combined with Amineptine for a year and a half. I believe it helped considerably with social inhibition and the physical symptoms of my depression, like fatigue and headache.

Choose any drug listed, doesn't matter. When it takes you to the actual research page of the drug you chose, just erase that drug's name in the box at the top of the page, type in amisulpride, and click on search. There's a lot of good reading on amisulpride at this site.

Yes, PubMed is a great place to start. Do a Google or Alta Vista (altavista.com) search also. They are the best search engines for obscure topics. If you use the keyword "depression" with amisulpride (or sulpiride) in your search you will avoid all the material related to schizophrenia.
