Today I finally saw my pdoc and discussed augmenting my prozac. He told me he has tried Neurontin many times and it was unsuccessful.
I gave him the info I found on Naltrexone via this web site and he seemed interested. He told me to come back in two weeks, and in the meantime he will research it and wants me to have a blood test done to check my liver function and some other things.
Question: What do I do for the next two weeks!!!!!

I'm glad that your doctor is up to trying the Naltrexone. I know it helped me quite a bit. If you need any more anecdotal evidence of it working, e-mail me.
I wish I knew what you could do for the next two weeks. I assume your doctor didn't want you to up your prozac dosage during this time. That would probably be an option. Otherwise I think you just need to tough it out with the hope that better days may lie ahead.

Thanks ChrisK. Previously my MD tried upping my prozac to 50mg, but turns out I caan't tolerate anything above 40mg.
Had a bad day yesterday, better today. My next pdoc appt is 2/29/00. Hard to wait.
