Anyone see a problem w/ Prozac/Rebox combo?

Posted by Phil on February 16, 2000, at 7:10:25

If the desipramine doesn't do the trick with Prozac, I want to try the Rebox. Any warnings or whatever?

Thanks,
Phil

Unpublished data suggest that reboxetine can be added to SSRIs and the combination is not associated with any significant interactions.

I've read that in general reboxetine does not cause drug-drug interactions. However both effexor and reboxetine are inhibitors of norepinephrine. That may indicate that a person should take less than the recommended dosage of reboxetine of 8 to 10mgs. when also taking effexor. My idea on this would be to start low and go slow.
