Have been on Neurontin for some months and 2wks. on Celexa for depression. Feel very "woozy". Anyone else have this affect? Appetite is poor too. Any input appreciated. Thanks.

Carmen - Neurontin and Celexa can be taken together. Neurontin is not metabolized and is excreted whole so there is little chance of drug/drug-interactions with Celexa, which itself doesn't interact with many drugs. The woosiness you feel is probably caused by the Celexa. This should be lessening about 2 weeks after starting Celexa and may disappear completely in a week or two more. Keep taking both for another couple weeks and see if the side effects lessen. Good Luck. - Cam W.

Fortunately I had off some days from work. It has very good affects on my reoccuring depression problem. Didn't realize it was a new drug. Hope I continue to feel on top of things. Again - thanks for your input. Carmen
