I don't believe that there are any contraindications. I take 400 mg of Wellbutrin with 10 mg of Celexa.

Combining Wellbutrin with any of the ssris, including celexa, is very common. It's probably the most common combination I can think of.

My doc did this mix for me. It will do great things if it is the right mix for you. Blessings,

Hope not since that's my combination. Celexa 40, Wellbutrin 225 (150 mg in AM, then 1/2 of 150 mg at night) and just recently Neurontin 400 mg.
It difficult to tell what med is doing what now. Since I added Neurontin I 'm not sure what it has done. My doctor told me I could increase the Nerontin pretty quickly but I'm a little shy about doing this since I feel. I don't like taking any more meds than I have to and so far this is the most I have taken together.
I liked taking only one med. That is still the ideal situation since it's much easier to increase or decease one med and know what was happening.
This doesn't get any easier the longer you are on meds. I'm still searching for the magic pill.

MA, I am not aware of any contraindications with these three meds. If my memory is correct, I've taken all three at the same time. I know I was taking Celexa, Welbutrin, lithium (and 95% sure)and Neurontin. It's a good mix of drugs your doc has you on - in that it makes sense. Right now the magic drug is parnate for me(plus lithium). Excellent results. Blessings,

I like the image of the magic pill. I used to care a lot about this, not wanting to take multiple meds. Ihave given up caring about it, cuz the reality for me is multiple cocktail. Maybe they can dispense each individual combo in one pill someday, like custom made pills.

Noa,
Before I even read your response the idea of a customized pill for those of us who require multiple medications occurred to me. It makes sense for those of us with depression as well as other medical conditions, i.e. diabetes/cardiac disease.
Taking multiple pills makes one psychologically feel worse than they are. I know that with treatment for depression and other illnesses, so many other systems are affected and must be treated at the same time for optimal results to occur. I think an antidepressant added to just about every other medication makes perfect sense. Just having a chronic disease is depressing enough.
I think we are onto something here. Can we patent this idea? OOPS too late, we just let the cat out of the bag.
What's your cocktail these days?
