How does effexor compare to tricyclics in terms of the lethargy it may cause? - does anyone know if efexor XR (sustained release) is available in Australia??

It is different for everyone, but for me, it did not cause any lethargy or sleepiness, in fact the opposite, ie very activating, made it somewhat difficult to fall asleep, gave me more energy.
