>Fluorouracil IS Efudix. I believe that it's more effective than Solaraze, but it's only suitable for small lesions. The inflammatory reaction is nasty but it can get rid of bad areas when Solaraze had done nada.

Every so often you see someone who has had the treatment. Their friends become concerned. Perhaps he/she is dying?
The problem is that the areas are never limited. It's pretty much the whole forehead at least.
Solaraze certainly does something.
After a few applications all this fluid collected in my eyelid, causing it to bulge and droop.
I lay down and thought about narcotics.

>So what sort of bathing suit do you wear Sigi?

Boardshorts, I guess, when I can be bothered, which isn't often.

Sigi my whole body is covered with them. They used a nitrogen to burn off some now it's peeling. Waiting on biopsies. So most of the time are you naked when swimming then? Used to love to skinny dip. PJ

If it is pouring rain, an absolute downfall, what is your favorite kind of protection, an umbrella or a raincoat? Why?

Raincoat.

I've always hated umbrellas. Perhaps because I bounce when I walk and the darn umbrella whacks me on the head, or bobs from proper position. They get blown apart. They drip. I generally prefer getting wet to using an umbrella.

It drives my husband nuts that I walk in the rain.

Do babblemail get delivered? Do you worry about that?

>If it is pouring rain, an absolute downfall, what is your favorite kind of protection, an umbrella or a raincoat? Why?

My favourite kind of protection is a house in which I can rest, satisfied that I have the perfect excuse to stay there.

As for the alternatives you mention, the umbrella is the better, except when bushwalking. Long pants will become wet below the knee from a raincoat, but this can be avoided by wearing shorts.

I would say raincoat for two reasons. The first is that in an absolute downpour, an umbrella is of little use, especially with strong winds. The second reason is that I ALWAYS lose my umbrellas. LOL It doesn't matter if they are over $30, I always lose them! I've decided that I just can't be trusted with umbrellas and I made a promise to myself to never use them. I'm so absentminded!

On a related note, I LOVE waterproof breathable jackets and pants! I feel invincible in them. I don't care how silly I look in them. I LOVE technical clothing. GORE-TEX is way cool! I would just love to be the only person able to walk through a major downpour with strong winds while everyone else is huddled inside with their flimsy umbrellas. Actually that did happen several times and I was the only person brave enough (and protected enough) to walk through the downpour. I even wore my plastic shoes that day and even though it rained so hard that the street was flooded, my shoes and feet were OK in the 4 inches of water. It felt awesome!

umbrella
I didn't know we were still doing polls.
umbrellas can be very pretty, nice little umbrella world, it can shield you from the wind, but it can also blow open
raincoats - I should own one, but I don't

Didn't arrive either, and I checked my junk thingo too.

The problem is that one takes a non reply as a decision not to reply.

It would be nice to be able to quantify the proportion of babblemails that are not delivered.

I don't know why it is (needless to say). It's the same email account as it has always been.

Nope...

Had one... He was my friend for 25 years but died recently after a 15 year struggle, the aftermath of a ruptured gall bladder... We were the same age... I miss that we could have long talks about almost anything... He was like my brother from different parents...

Do you keep foreign currency after you have traveled? Why or why not?

I've never traveled to a foreign country. I've only been to Canada and the U.S. and I am a citizen of both. LOL I don't find American currency particularly interesting. I can also easily get some U.S. currency at any bank in Canada, so I don't currently keep currency.

However, I would probably keep some foreign currency from other countries besides the U.S. It would be interesting to have around to show friends who have never been there.

British bank notes (especially £20) have the most class! Other notes are like monopoly money.

The American notes all look the same.

They do have that cool pyramid eye-of-Horus(?) thingy on them.

Usually end up with a few pieces by accident though I don't plan for things to go that way. Broke enough to convert / spend what I have. Have some NZ currency both before and after they changed the coins. Keep thinking the NZ$1 is an AUS$2... Have a quarter and a dollar from the US.
