my hair is naturally curly (puffy and frizzy really) and i use the "got 2b" stuff-- the mousse (got 2b kinky) and the clear anti-frizz serum stuff (i know anti-frizz/frieda makes the same thing but it's expensive). sometimes i find some sort of heavy cream to add to the mix to weigh my hair down, but not always. and i always use pantene for curlyheads because it weighs my hair down (usually that's bad, but in this case i like the results).

it's not perfect, but i'm always looking to try new things and to have real curls instead of frizz!

yay. i like this thread.

Ghost!
Welcome to the post! I am like the Queen of curly hair. Yesterday I got a Thermal Reconstructuring of my hair done. It took 5 hours but now I have stick straight hair! Before hand I used rusk sheer brilliance and would swear on it. Rusk also makes a few good shining sprays.. one is a spray and one is like a spritz (does that make any sense?) the spritz is great. I have used the John Freida stuff but they contain a lot of alcohol which will may hair dry which for me, makes my hair frizzy! Another great product is CHI silk, it is 100% silk which is in its liquid form, it is expensive but a little bottle ($12) lasts like 6 months. It makes my hair so soft and even silky (haha). Well have a great day, it is raining like crazy, 100% humidity and 90 degrees, I am waiting to test out the process on my hair yesterday and see how it goes!
Cheers!
Lexy

Hi simus,

I am just checking in to see if you are feeling any better today...I hope everything works out for you. You are such a wonderful person and I don't like to see you like this.
So if there is anything I can do to help or you just want to talk you have my email address if it's something you don't want to post just feel free to drop me a line fknight1@hotmail.com.

You are in my thoughts and prayers...just know that the laundry will get done eventually and the house will get cleaned up also so don't stress on the things that can be fixed. But I can tell that you have bigger fish to fry with the way you sounded yesterday...kids themselves are sometimes a big enough stress factor without the rest of the daily grind.

Hopefully it will all work out soon my dear - take a deep breath and know that we are all here for you and we all love you.

Simus!
I am so sorry things are not going well for you. If you need a good cry do not see it as a step back. It is so hard for us with mood disorders because we truck along making it, gaining confidence then something happens and we get sad or anxious. Of course the first thing that comes to our mind is that "Oh God, its coming back". I know we have talked before about even our worst days now are better than before. You are in my prayers please get in touch if I can do anything for you!!
Love,
Lexy
