Dr. Bob re-directed several of our posts from the other site to here, so you might want to make sure and check in his post here, if you are missing some replies you were expecting from over there - he lumped a whole bunch together in one:))

Hi Everyone! Whew . . . looks like I missed a heck of a week last week!! I haven't had time to read all the posts and really can't figure out the genesis of what put Sandy on her down-hill slide, but I just have to say . . . NO ONE should feel badly or feel responsible for what happened. You all were doing what you do best - responding, supporting, consoling and advising - all with your usual love and concern!

I'm out again a few days this week to a nursing convention in Nashville. Just wanted to check in and say hi! My insomnia is a little better and melatonin seems to be working. I started my treadmill last week and feel better for it. The inorgasmia issue seems finally to be abating. I've gone through my 5th cycle and only had a couple "episodes" in the days leading up to it. The in-laws were in for 10 days and I survived it very well!! I guess at 5 months, things are starting to straighten out a bit more. Now if I can just take off the 10 pounds I've gained in the last 5 months, I'd be even happier :-)!

Good luck everyone, have a good week and keep on doing what you're doing . . . you all are truly wonderful and special and deserve the best!!!
~ Lynne

Hi Mag - I'm just getting caught up - what a week I missed, huh!?!? I have to say I don't know what social phobias are like, but I sure do know about meeting the prospective in-laws, have been thru that many a time. I'm proud you didn't chicken out and you can use this event as a touch-point for future successes. Like someone else said (jlynne?) - you seem so sweet in your posts, how could they not like you, especially if it is evident how much you care for their son. Hope your week is going well!

Hey guys, i did it!!! i feel so good having done so!, i was nervous and anxious but it wasnt overwhelming and i actually had a good time:) i totally thought of you guys too and knowing that i wasnt really alone. As i was sitting on my doorstep waiting to go i thought, 'you know good or bad this is theraputic, facing the fears, one step at a time', normally i would have backed out and felt horrible for doing so, now i know i just have to try harder and try to change my perspectives a bit. I luv you guys for all the support, its great to know your day went well Mystic, i bet you feel a whole lot better now. Jlynne how was your day?

Hey, Mystic . . . you're probably just feeling the release of all that anxiety you were hanging onto before the party . . . kind of like a "let-down". Give yourself time to unwind - get some of Magdalena's Healing Garden lotion, pamper yourself, eat some chocolate!

Hope you feel better:~)

I discovered this site last night and it is such a joy and relief to see information and messages about most of the things that have been haunting me for so long. This has been a really rotten week so far, but just knowing that there are others out there who might understand makes it somewhat better.
So thanks from someone who needed to reach out

Hey, I was afraid we lost you! Dr. Bob re-directed us because we were talking "social" stuff. If you go up to the first post for today (3/30) you will see a post with the subject line "Redirected Lexaproers". It's about 15 messages up from this one. Dr. Bob lumped a whole bunch of messages into that one, so look through the whole message to find them all.

Glad you found us:~)

Hey, the first time Dr. Bob redirected us, it was because of one of my messages and I didn't understand it at all, and he sent us to a new thread with only one post on it, and I didn't know how to find anyone - I felt like I had been left on an island all by myself.

I had just gotten the nerve to start posting, and was so happy to have found so many caring people. I thought I had lost them for good, and I cried myself to sleep that night. Took me several hours the next evening to finally figure out how this site works.

So, anyway . . . you have pneumonia?? Bummer! What is Z Pak antibiotics?

Have you leveled out on the Lex again, since you went back up to 20mg?

Mystic,
I had thought that I had gained weight from lexapro. I really think its more that when I was super anxious I was not eating so I dropped down to like 119 but now I am actually enjoying eating again. So I have been eating a lot and have but on about six lbs. I now have realized and started working out and eating better( I mean, I was like cinnabun queen)The weight seems to be coming off ok. For me it was a lot easier to blame weight gain on Lex then myself =)
Getting back to a size 2
