Edna, go to the top of this screen and click Psycho Social Babble; then scroll all the way down to "Magdalena" and you will see our new thread (it is very long). You should start seeing some names you recognize. Good luck! We've missed you:) ...jlynne

Lex Family,
Are we supposed to now just post here or both places, I am rather confused, but like all of you do not want to lose touch with anyone!!!
Help!

Lexy - good question! I guess if it deals with meds stay on the psycho babble thread. If it's just general stuff, go to the social thread. If it's both, you can safely stay on psycho-babble cuz you mention meds. If there's no mention of meds, better put it on social.
Just never start a new thread and we will always get everyone's messages (if we always check "notify you of later follow-ups to this thread".) You can just change the title, like you did.
Now, isn't that as clear as mud?!?!

Lexy, while you were away Dr. Bob redirected us to the social site. Apparently we were getting off track and talking more about our social issues instead of our lex issues. We all have moved over to that site to talk socially about our issues but still check the other board too. I still would like to help others who need it when they are first beginning the lex.
Congrats on handling a difficult situation with grace and dignity rather than exploding at someone. How hard it must be to control yourself with something so personal as cheating! I'm not sure I could have done it! As for your friend, just be there for her. It sounds as though she's gonna need you and soon probably. Mrs. C

Hey, I am still here, and I don't plan on leaving any time soon:~) It is unfortunate that some of our sistas felt the need to leave our thread (and babble). I think we have all found some comfort here, and I honestly believe that we can re-establish our bond, if we really want to.
Even in "real life" families there are times when hurt feelings get in the way of healthy communication, but just as in "real life" families, I believe it is possible to heal the wounds and continue toward emotional growth.
I love everyone I have met in here, and I would love to see all of us find our way back together for the sake of healing. These threads are, after all, the best place in the world to practice relationship skills.
I am here for anyone who is willing to give it a try, and I appreciate how hard it will be to come back after such an emotional break. Please, keep this in mind . . . these boards were set up by a group of people who are objective and, for the most part uninvolved with our lives. We, on the other hand, are real people reaching out to other real people, and we all need to learn how to deal with life in a healthier way.
I am willing to stretch my emotional boundaries, if that is what it takes to bring people back, and I hope that everyone who left will look inside and recognize that we all need a better way to handle our emotions. Let's talk, ok?
I love you all.

If I remember correctly, and I think I do, all of the yo yo's were trying to console Trucker in Jlynne's absence. Trucker was feeling like she did something to cause her to leave the site. But according to Trucker, the yo yo's are a click of women that excluded her from any comfort or friendship. Feelings were deeply hurt and we have joined a private site where we can all feel free to be who we are. I am happy with that. Mrs. C

Sometimes our emotions get mixed up with memories of past hurts and it is difficult to separate the experiences from the feelings. Things are said that really stem from those past injuries, and people are hurt. We are not all skilled in the art of language or propriety, but I have grown to know all of you through these posts, and I know in my heart that you are all very sensitive, loving people, without exception. It is my deepest hope that we can find a way to see past the exteriors and find it in our hearts to heal these wounds. Sometimes the ones who are shouting the loudest are the ones who are hurting the most. I will not take sides in this matter . . . I love you all.

Please don't post anything that could lead others to feel accused.
If you or others have questions about this or about posting policies in general, or are interested in alternative ways of expressing yourself, please see the FAQ:
http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/faq.html#civil
Follow-ups regarding these issues should be redirected to Psycho-Babble Administration. They, as well as replies to the above post, should of course themselves be civil.
Thanks,
