Way to go for posting what you ate Dinah. I think keeping track of what is eat is very important. It lets us control our eating in an indirect sort of way. Posting it can hold us more accountable.
I'm going to post what I eat too.
Yesterday:
2 large cookies
1 waffle-type cookie (it was really really good, so it must have been
really fattening)
1 Pan-Asian noodle meal from Made in Japan Teriyaki
Doritos
Rich chocolate ice cream
3 large gummy-type candies
Rice
Broccoli
ShrimpI really have to change my eating as you can see. Today I have a plan and I'm going to follow it.

Instant oatmeal
Sweet peanut rice balls
Instant noodles
1 All Bran bar
1 steamed corn on the cob
Lots of seaweed snacks from Chinatown
1 bowl rice
Some Thai beefI didn't stick with my plan, except for the oatmeal and All Bran bar. I shouldn't have had the rice balls. Tomorrow I'm going to start weighing my food and counting calories, I hope.

1 package instant oatmeal
1/3 of a large white chocolate and macadamia nut cookie
1 handful of Doritos
2x2 inch pound cake
some seaweed snacks
1 bowl instant noodles
1 bowl rice
Some roasted chicken
Some greens
A few shrimp
A few sips of FrappuccinoI didn't weigh my food. It's too much of a hassle. I should skip the instant noodles, someone told me they are empty calories.
My plan for tomorrow is:
Breakfast: instant oatmeal
Snack: yogurt w/flax seeds
Lunch: Lean Cuisine
Snack: All Bran bar
Dinner: Lean CuisineIf I can stick with my plan for a week, I will reward myself with a movie.

The version I ate didn't seem to have any wine in it. It seemed like a chicken broth base. It appeared to be enormously healthy.
I've just been trying out different things the last two days. I ordinarily get the same things from the same places.
Today I had
Nachos
Grilled chicken salad with mandarin oranges
BreadThat's it. I developed a sick headache and didn't eat anything but a bit of bread after lunch. Slept all day instead.

I hope you feel better now. Did you take anything for your headache? I usually do and I rarely get headaches, maybe 2 or 3 times a year?

I took Frova, then Excedrin Migraine, and neither completely worked.
Fortunately headaches that are resistant to medication are rare for me, and I slept through most of the worst of it, snuggled up with furry white little balls of fluff on my daybed.
And I lost my appetite to boot. Not altogether a bad day.
It added to my discouragement about ever being the reasonably energetic and productive person I once was, though.

1 packet instant oatmeal
1 fried curry meat filled bun
1/2 cup ice cream
lots of longan
Some Durian
3 cups of 10 vegetables juice
Some rice
Some crab
Some veggies
Some roasted duckI didn't follow the plan I made for myself because I went to my aunt's house for dinner. I ate a lot of fruit today and drank lots of veggie juice. I could have done without the fried curry bun and the ice cream.

Instant oatmeal
A few Tic Tacs
1 frozen dinner
Veggies with dip
1 pickle
1 large gummy candy
A large packed handful of Doritos
1 bowl rice
Some roasted duck
Some on choy
A couple of sips of frappuccino
Exercise: Walked 2.48 km
I didn't do so well today and it all started with eating the less
healthy frozen dinner instead of the lean cuisine-type meal with about
200 calories. I'm going to throw the rest of those dinners away to
create more room for the healthier versions. I don't know how to cook,
I think I should learn.
Tomorrow's plan:
Instant oatmeal
Lean cuisine-type dinner
A banana
Dinner with less than 200 g of rice
Exercise: Walk at least 2.48 kmCurrent weight: 118.6 lbs (guess I gained two pounds of water again)
Goal weight: 95
First mini goal: 110 lbsDeneb*

Doesn't sound bad to me.
Let's see...
Peanut butter and jelly sandwich
Guacamole and chips
Some Pringles
Too much Bunny bread while I was cooking
A bit of meatloaf with vegetablesOh, and a snowball. Yes, yes, I know it was bad. But we hadn't been to the snowball stand all year. I got the second smallest one...

I found another place to post my food journal. I'm still writing down everything I eat. It's been 13 days now. I hope to do this for many months.
When I reach my first mini goal of 110 lbs, I'll post it here.

I posted that I was 110 lbs more than 2 weeks ago. Now I'm 112-113 lbs and have been for more than 2 weeks. I think the 110 lbs was a result of dehydration.
I'm averaging a bit over 1200 kcal/day right now. I have my binge days where I eat over 2000 kcal.
My weight loss has stalled. I'm going to try to reduce my intake to 1100 kcal/day. I really have to do this. My BMI is nearly 23 and for Asians anything over 23 is considered overweight. We actually start developing health problems above 23. I'm aiming for a BMI of about 19. 95 pounds would be just one pound underweight for me. It would be the perfect weight for me.
I'm going to try to go two whole weeks eating 1100 kcal or less per day. If I succeed I will reward myself by taking a bubble bath.

I ate too much again today. So far I've eaten 1344 kcal and I've yet to eat dinner. I think I'll eat a hard boiled egg for dinner.
I've decided to go on a 14 day 700 kcal low carb diet to hopefully get rid of my cravings and binges. Hopefully I will lose 5 pounds after the two weeks, with 3 pounds being fat.
I have to go grocery shopping tomorrow to buy some lean protein.
After the 14 days I plan to go back to my regular 1200 kcal/day way of eating that allows all foods.
I can do this! I must do this. I'm going to do this.
Starting right now, no more than 20 g of carbs per day.
I'm going to burn some fat!
I'm going to try to exercise 30 mins everyday.
Must burn fat!

> Deneb*Deneb, have you consulted your doctor about such a restricive caloric intake? From everything I've read, 1100 calories a day are not enough to sustain a healthy lifestyle. And I think that it's recommended that you increase your daily activities, are you exercising regularly?
