Hi PJ!

>Ed, What are these drugs?

Which ones?

Citalopram = Celexa in US = Cipramil in UK and Belgium

Escitalopram = Lexapro in US = Cipralex in UK = Sipralexa in Belgium

Clozapine = Clozaril in UK and US = Leponex in Belgium

Hi J!

>its worth a try but warning for agruculosis white blood cells that are killed

Agranulocytosis is uncommon but you must have blood tests once weekly to detect it at an early stage. You also need to know the symptoms of agranulocytosis eg. fever, sore throat, mouth ulcers, flu-like symptoms etc.

>im taking seroquel, one of its side effects is also decreased white blood cells, i might be moree vulnerable for this when i start clozapine no?

Seroquel very rarely affects white blood cells. Seroquel won't make you any more vulnerable to agranulocytosis if you start Clozaril.

Kind regards

Ed, When will I ever remember all the different names of drugs in the different countries? I know celexa, lexapro, etc. I just must be a dummy or maybe it's Alzheimers? BTW what are the symptoms of the above. I know short term memory loss but anxiety also causes this. Sorry Jeroen to hickjack your Thread but Ed is so hard to get ahold of these days. Hi J,

You could try Cipramil or Sipralexa - both can be combined with Seroquel.

Nausea and vomiting? You need to start at a small dose to prevent the nausea eg. 2,5mg

Hi J!

Cipramil might work well for your anxiety. I think you'd need to start at a very low dose to avoid side effects - you seem very sensitive to the side effects of SSRIs. You could start on 2.5mg Cipramil (1/4 of a 10mg tab) and increase the dose over a few weeks to 10-80mg.

>remergon no, i heared about the weight gain

Similar weight gain to Zyprexa. You didn't gain any weight last time you tried Zyprexa. In combination with antipsychotics, Remergon can often relieve the symptoms of schizophrenia.

What are your psych symptoms at the moment?

Paranoia?
Depression?
Anxiety?
Agitation?
Insomnia?
Hearing voices?
Unusual thought?
