Hello my friend!
>i dont feel the uncontrolled hunger like i had before im on zyprexa for 1 month now
Excellent :-)
>could the Tranxene be responsible for this?
I suppose it's possible but I don't think it's likely. Perhaps Zyprexa isn't going to cause as much weight gain as you expected :-) I hope you're eating healthily!
>i weigh 90 kilos
How tall are you? Perhaps 90kg is a good weight for your height.....

i am 1 month on zyprexa and my TD has not been reversed ... i think its only possible with high doses
i have a question for you, why do neuroleptics interfear with the muscles in the body?
Posted by ed_uk on May 6, 2005, at 6:38:50
In reply to NO CURE, posted by Jeroen on May 6, 2005, at 6:26:54
Hi J,
Neuroleptics don't interfere with the muscles themselves, neuroleptics act on the brain to alter the way that the brain controls movement. Neuroleptics block dopamine D2 receptors in the brain. D2 receptors are important in the regulation of movement.

damn i need a cure
i havent tryed lecithin yet i am on zyprexa 10 mg but i feel not good on it, i only feel good on seroquel, like i never been sick when i take it even after 2 days
btw the seroquel withdrawal was very bad for my eyes, the uncontrolled movements were evil and worse
Abilify, Geodon, risperdal, zyprexa (will try highest dose before i give up then switch to Seroquel.
the bad thing bout seroquel is to take it twice day, that means i wont be able to function in real life because of the high sedation.i will feel like a zombie, 400 mg seroquel is high dose. man man man, why bother
HELP!!!!!!!

Hi J :-)
>the bad thing bout seroquel is to take it twice day, that means i wont be able to function in real life because of the high sedation.
>i will feel like a zombie, 400 mg seroquel is high dose. man man man, why botherYou might not need as much as 400mg. You'll have to try a range of Seroquel doses to find out which dose works best for YOU. Hopefully, if Seroquel did make you drowsy, the drowsiness would reduce after a few weeks :-)
How much Tranxene are you taking at the moment? Do you think it's helping your anxiety?

Hi Jeroen, I'm sorry I wasn't home to talk with both you and Ed. But it sounds like you're doing much better. How about a lower dose of seroquel during the day if 400mg is too high during the day? What do you think ED? Fondly, Phillipa

Hi J!
What do you do when you're in the hospital? I hope you don't get too bored. Are you having any psychological treatment?

Hi Jeroen,
What does your psych doc think of Seroquel? Would he be happy to let you try it?

Hi Ed! Miss you. How's the studying going? Hope it's almost over and test time is near. Jeroen I agree with what Ed says, tell the pdoc that you felt great on low doses of seroquel. Why waste time if the zyprexa isn't helping you? Fondly, Phillipa

Ed, I'm so sorry. But you can do it. If your concentration is as bad as you indicated in another Thread, don't feel bad. I had to read all my texts 3 times to get the knowledge I needed to ace my tests. That with the complete notes I took in class. I was a book aholic. After nursing school I couldn't read for a year. And that's the truth. Love PJ XXXXXX

Have you ever tried Provigil? It might help with the sedation.
Kind regards,
