was at the hospital, and almost had a psychotic attack, ive seen everything in slow motion
now that im home and took 2 hours rest its gone
ive been 1 week of seroquel off and i still feel side effectsmmm i doubt of doing zyprexa again because i took 10 mg for like 2 weeks and i was almost blind, coudnt see where i was walking
maybe i should get hospitalized and try 30 mg? high dose? and evaluate the eye problem what do you think?
could this be dystonia? and zyprexa making it worser?

Hi J,
I'm sorry to hear about your attack. It sounds like a panic attack with the symptom derealisation- where the surroundings seem changed or unreal. It doesn't sound like you were psychotic.
>was at the hospital, and almost had a psychotic attack, ive seen everything in slow motion
now that im home and took 2 hours rest its gone
>ive been 1 week of seroquel off and i still feel side effects.I think this suggests that your previous 'panic attack' was not a side effect of Seroquel- another reason to try Seroquel again!
>i took 10 mg for like 2 weeks and i was almost blind, coudnt see where i was walking
>maybe i should get hospitalized and try 30 mg? high dose? and evaluate the eye problem what do you think?I think it might be better to try Seroquel again first.
Best regards,
Ed.

no, it was the seroquel, this medicine is miracle for me, im feeling normal and very good and even on low dose 75 mg, but im scared for getting psychotic on it, this proves it, shame, never felt like before
i have patients at the hospital even saying to me you can get psychotic on this medicine, the first time i took in combination with SIPRALEXA i was in bad shape. this medicine is a miracle for me!! i felt even 300% better then on amantadinecan you help me with the zyprexa?
ill give zyprexa a last shot, or should i try clozaril? im getting nuts discussing these things!!!
if i wantd to try the zyprexa then i would go high dose upto 30 mg, and avaluate the eye problem after a few months, what do you think?
can i take zyprexa in combination with amantadine? i have no serious side effects from amantadine

no i was psychotic man,
im very dissapointed. i was almost cured
seroquel dosage is normal twice a day?
many people take it once day?
what kind of thing is going on here? isnt there a general rule???? like once daily and not twice
im getting nuts
I send 2 emails to a psy doc, the one of the study with GEODON, if i ask for info he never replyes, and when i ask to join a study with ASENAPINE he replyes
MAN, DR. BOB LISTEN, WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME???yes bob, found an anti psychotic who makes me very happy, but it makes me bloody psychotic

could this be the problem?
i only took it at night, 1 week passed and im still withdrawing, meds take 2 weeks to get out of my system
anyway i have success with zyprexa also with blinking but, first i took 5 mg for a week then increased upto 10 mg for 2 weeks, blinking was decreased by 40% by week 3 but i gained weight and quit it for this reason, very stupid indeed!!! ill add amantadine to my zyprexa
but when i took 10 mg for 2 week straight, i was almost blind, any theorys?? very weird isnt it???
VERY
anyway didnt continue any longer for it to go even more less or soshould give it a 8 week trial at highest dosage to see the results what do you think?
so if this fails, i will definatelly give the seroquel a try
thanks for your time ed, i hope we meet once and i wont be blinking hahahaahahaaaa :)

yes, i had a small eye blinking tic actually before but didnt bother me at all
the geodon has caused it to become very worse
mmm there must have been an underlying condition and the geodon must have triggered it, what can this underlying condition be? ITS FACT!!!

Hi J,
Perhaps you would benefit from a drug other than an AP to treat your tic/blepharospasm/whatever. I can think of a few drugs which might be useful, I will make some suggestions tomorrow.
Sleep well,
Ed.

Hi Jeroen

I know of someone whom had great success preventing Zyprexa weight gain using amantadine.

Hello,
The nicotine patch can sometimes relieve tics, it has been used to treat Tourette's syndrome. I wonder whether it might help Jeroen.

Hi J,
>lol nicotine for tardive dyskinesia, when i smoke the eye blinking spasms are getting worse
:-( I don't suppose a nicotine patch would help then. Anyway, this could be a good opportunity to quit smoking!!
>remember i only took 75 mg at night nothing in the morning, and it started on day 6 on 75 mg in 3 PM afternoon
The panic attack could have been a withdrawal symptom, at 3pm it was a long time since your last dose, the amount of Seroquel in your brain would have been low when you had the attack.
Tell me this....
Was the panic attack that you had while you were taking Seroquel similar to the one that you had after you'd stopped Seroquel?
>could this be the problem because i didnt took it twice a day?
It could be, if you want to try Seroquel again you could take it every 12 hours, twice daily. For example, you could take your morning dose at 8am and your evening dose at 8pm.
Seroquel has a short half-life (about 6 to 7 hours). You might need to take it three times a day!

Hi J!
You sound better today, calmer :-)
>but im on zyprexa atm, 5 mg, after 10 days i will increase my dosage to 10 mg
Good luck! I really hope it works out. If not, you can always return to Seroquel. Leponex could be useful if Seroquel doesn't work out.
