maybe this is the opposite of what you said...

but how about more friends? and maybe even more superficial friends?

i just mean that maybe you are missing people to hang with.

activities can be fun.

clubs or whatever. for common interests.

when i was younger i thought i wanted / needed greater intensity or intimacy of friendship... but the people i hit it off the best with were... too much like me, in some way. depressive. or ranty. or... something... that ultimately kept me more in that rut than helped me move on / forwards from it.

best club i ever joined was a bunch of gym guys who were focued on doing the actual exercise. a sort of a shut up and lets do it kind of a group. then a good sense of togetherness / comradarie in the activity.

more recently i went to a motorcycle slow skills group. they were all amazing. wheelies and so on. really great skills on bikes. it was heaps of fun riding with them... then at the bar / food place afterwards i realised quite a few of them were kids. still in school. but that really genuinely did not matter when it came to having fun riding with them on the road.

i don't know.

i still come here...

but i mostly don't feel that i need / want people these days.

over 'em.
